The Welsh
space rock band is back with part two of the story they were telling last year
as the Cromlech Chronicles. This LP
consists of two tracks, the first being the 18min Ripples of the Megaliths,
which is a very slow journey that just glides along as the band utilise all
sorts of different instruments in the soundscape. Very relaxing.. Side B is the 17min Even though my Mouth is
Silent track. This is more spacey and mysterious but also very slow. There are
some occasional vocals as well here and there. Overall, this is the most laid
back and mellow record the band has ever made (that I have heard).
This is a site where I post reviews of CDs, DVDs, LPs, and concerts. I have been writing music reviews on and off since 1984. I ran a heavy metal fanzine from 1984-1988 called Metal Madness and have been a staff writer for Aural Innovations for many years. I have also contributed to Chrohinga Well (RIP), Bad Acid (RIP), Lowcut (RIP), Roadburn and a number of other zines as well. I recently moved to Portugal so please request the new address and do not send any music to Denmark anymore. Tak..
