The
Swedish band Spiders are back with their 3rd 7” in two years. This
one features two short tracks (all the bands tracks are pretty short). Weekend
Nights is an uptempo track and a really rocking track. The lead vocal is pretty
powerful but mixed a bit loud. I really like the way they kick into the solo
section before back into the main hard rock riff. Cool song. Flip the record
over and you Lies. This is another pretty fasted paced track. It did not really
grab me as much as the excellent A side track. No real interesting mid section,
just a straight up rock and roll song about being told Lies. Spiders keep on
rollin’…..
